Proud recipients of the National Charter Standard League of the Year Award 2010.
Welcome to Bolton, Bury & District Football League on the Net.
The first ever Charter Standard League in Lancashire!
The League for 2010/11 will consist of around 500 teams playing either mini soccer from under 7s to under 10s, 9 v 9 football at u/11s to u/12s and 11 v 11 football at u/13s to u/17s. (Many of these teams were mixed with girls and boys), we also have girls sections at under 10's to Under 16's.
In all we have around 6,000 children taking part in three formats of football each weekend.
We have around 150 referees, with many moving onto the adult game and members of the referee academy.
We have more Charter Standard teams and clubs than any other league and we are known Nationally by the FA as the league model to follow.
We are a partner league to Bolton Wanderers who are the only Premier League club we know that takes the time to build links with a local league, provides support to our presentation nights and provides the Reebok Stadium and their Academy Facilities for our Cup Finals.
